Onclaude@Lift France 2013
Onclaude will participate in the fifth edition of Lift France, an exciting event gathering those envisioning how digital technology could transform design and manufacturing through the use of new techniques and the introduction of new ways of managing products lifecycle and of new collaborative innovation models.
"Occupy Industry" is the inspiring title of this year's event, which calls manufacturing into question and suggests that changing what and how we produce and consume might help us to overcome the current economic crisis.
Lift Events, which since 2006 holds an annual leading Conference on digital innovation in Geneva (Switzerland) as well as organising several satellite events worldwide, has partnered with Fing (Fondation Internet Nouvelle Génération), a French organization which also promotes digital technologies and open innovation, to bring to Marseille a thought-provoking series of talks, exhibitions and workshops.
Designated as Capital of Culture for 2013, Marseille, the new Mediterranean hotspot for innovation, will host the Lift France event for 2 days (15-16 October) at the Villa Méditerranée, the new stunning architectural creation by Italian Architect Sergio Boeri.
Onclaude has been selected by Fing and by Marseille-based organisation Design the Future Now to take part in the "Carrefour des Possibles" event, which takes place on Wednesday the 16th of October from 6pmuntil9pm. In the first part of the event, ten breakthrough projects emerging from South France (Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur Region) innovation ecosystem will be pitched in front of the audience. A broader selection of innovative projects, including Onclaude, will be showcased in the second part of the evening, when visitors will be invited to a networking buffet. Attendance is free but you need to register to the event.
Other unmissable events are the Lift Experience, an exhibition space where "tomorrow's disruptive innovations, weird machines and unexpected objects" will be on show; a one-day "Digital Disruptions" Mass Workshop (Wednesday 16th, 9am-5pm) and all talks and the conferences scheduled on the 15th from 9.30am until 7,15pm. Check the programme on Lift France website to find out more details.
We're looking forward to seeing you in Marseille!
